Internet of things can only drive in our reliance on big data

In this millennium the volume of data has became so large that some new methods of analysis have been created. This is an issue that is not likely to disappear. With the    rise of smart devices even more information is being collected as you are reading this article.

Researchers can gather some information more easily; science can move forward at an even greater speed. Technological advances can benefit from the fruits of this work. On the other hand, market research can refine their analysis to each individuals. Our habits can then be monitor and our need anticipated. With the help of big data and machine learning, companies like Amazon can suggest a product at a certain time. This is the present. In the future my fridge may refill itself. My home may be able to order a take away before I get home from work.

All this data needs to be stored in some systems. Those will rely even more on a highly cohesive integration of systems. Once this is in place will this data still make sense? Will we be living in an utopia where some rules can be become gibberish? Will our political systems completely change? Will we be more healthy?

Time is getting very interesting.
